People can strive their whole lives to find a job they love and that they are good at. I found it at 23 when I discovered an unrelenting passion for the water, for teaching and for babies. I already knew then, this is what I am going to do for the rest of my life. Two years on and my passion has only grown, so has my confidence, love of life and fulfilment from the best job in the world. I have learnt so much about the water, love, healing, relationships, babies and myself. The feeling of connecting with the beautiful families in the water and sharing, teaching and helping them is hard to put in words.
To me it is love and for me, it is happiness.

I’ve been in Oceanic Waterbabies for over six years with both of my boys. For various reasons I’ve had to shuffle timetables and classes and as a result I have had over half a dozen Waterbabies instructors.
Some common threads have appeared whether the instructors have been rookies or wily veterans. Firstly, their caring nature is evident. It is obvious that this is a career for them and not just a job. They all have been outstanding communicators and easily approachable. Their friendly, enthusiastic manner have made the classes a joy.
The instructors have also provided helpful insights into other aspects of parenting which have always been well received. But, it is the passion of swimming and the Waterbabies’ philosophy around teaching that has kept me coming back year after year.
