TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM
Our Infant aquatics teacher-training program was created to meet the demand for quality teachers. The expertise, dedication and passion of our teachers clearly demonstrates why our program is so successful.
Our innovative training program incorporates a wide range of resources to provide comprehensive education and experience for our teachers.
Areas of training include:
- Program philosophy
- Pregnancy, labour and birth
- The water connection: The healing and energetic properties of water
- Early childhood development
- Breathing responses, the art and technique of submersion
- The Waterbabies program: Techniques and skill development
- Personal and professional development
- Understanding and working with the parent child relationship and class dynamics
- Dimensions of health and well-being and their application to successful, ongoing swimming
Training is held over a six to twelve month period and includes approximately 200 hours in theory, observation and practical water experience.
Our training program develops skilled teachers to deliver the Waterbabies™ program with a high level of nurturing and expertise.
Teachers are regularly quality assessed to ensure exellence in their duty of care and in the correct delivery of the Waterbabies™ program. |
